The author lifts the veil on her career in the police service in a revealing autobiography. She looks back to the days when she was a member of the Wiltshire Constabulary at the time when the Equality Act first came into being in 1975. Penny had also served in the county force, as a police cadet, for three years before deciding, after her two year probation, to transfer to the West Midlands Police to marry  "Brummie" born, Constable Mike Talbot.

Her ebook, published in May 2015, tells about her personal journey in the Wiltshire Constabulary between September 1971 and November 1976.

The publication titled ' Policewoman, Wiltshire Constabulary, `can be purchase from Amazon.co.uk  and Amazon .com.

Penny can be contacted via email on: pennytlbt@yahoo.co.uk. She would love to hear from former colleagues from her police cadet days in Wiltshire and also when she served at Chippenham and Trowbridge police stations.  She also served at Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Castle Vale in the West Midlands police.
